.BALTMEX Index Details
The BitMEX ALTMEX Basket Index, .BALTMEX, tracks the USD price of a basket of ten Altcoins. The coins are selected by BitMEX, from a pool of observed coins that excludes Bitcoin and ETH, based on market capitalisation. When first listed and at each regular rebalance, a cap of 20% is applied to the weight of each individual coin in the basket. This basket index can be used to track the combined performance of the top ten Altcoins.
