BMEX has a maximum supply of 450 million tokens, vested over a 5 year period.
Is there a BMEX burning mechanism?
Yes. BitMEX burns BMEX on a monthly basis. The amount of BMEX for burning are 4% of Net Fees from derivatives markets, 8% of Net Fees from spot markets, and 50% of Net Fees from the BMEX trading pairs on BitMEX.
How is the price of BMEX determined?
The value of BMEX is determined through its tokenomics and the many benefits holders enjoy on the BitMEX exchange.
